Vaniila and Raspberry Buttercream Cake

Remember these cakes? We often see them in the coffee shops and confectionery shops back in the 90s.

We missed it so much and decided to bake it myself.

We love the generous serving of jam between the vanilla sponge cakes. The buttercream is not overly sweet. Perfect for the weight watchers.

This is also used for Chinese Weddings "Guo Da Li".
